Florence (Koptera) Jachera

Florence Jachera (Nee: Koptera), 84, passed away at home on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was born in Elizabeth and lived in Bayonne most of her life. She worked for Western Electric of Kearny and later owned and operated Barricini & Loft Candy with stores in Woodbridge, Newark and Jersey City. Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph J. Jachera, her son Joseph Jachera Jr. and her four siblings. Loving mother of Cindy Carangelo and her late husband James, Linda Annetta and her husband David and Debbie Grato and her husband Joseph. Dear grandmother of James Carangelo and his wife Mary, Gia Riccobono and her husband John, David Annetta, Joseph Grato and Stefanie Grato. Cherished great-grandmother of James, Valentina and John. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday (Today) from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. DUE TO THE UPCOMMING SNOW STORM THE MASS WILL NOW BE HELD ON THURSDAY 3/16/2017. Viewing times remain the same.
