John Miksza

John Miksza, 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. John was a 32 year employee of Western Electric / AT&T and a 16 year employee of the Bayonne Board of Education. He was a graduate of Technical High School and Rutgers University. He was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Bayonne where he attended grade school and served as an usher, parish council member and on the centenial committee. He was predeceased by his parents Bronislaw and Stella (Nee: Waselowski) Miksza and his siblings Walter, Joseph, Thomas, Anthony, Chester, Stanley and Helen Frisco. John is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Nee: Wegrzynski) Miksza and his loving daughter Andrea Miksza. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
