Dorothy (Stasiulaitis) Strandberg

   Dorothy Strandberg (Nee: Stasiulaitis), 94, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  Dorothy was born and raised in Bayonne where she resided her entire life.  She was a home health aide.

   Dorothy was predeceased by her parents William and Theresa Stasiulaitis, her beloved husband James C. Strandberg, her children Judy Nicholson and James Robert Strandberg and her siblings William Stasiulaitis, Jean Augustyniak, Ann Druback, Bernice Karaffa and Edward Stasiulaitis. 

   Loving mother of John Strandberg and his wife Tawn.  Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Christopher James, Tracey Lynn, Erica, Shana, Marissa, Kayla and Erik.  Devoted sister of Theresa Shea and her late husband Michael.  Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Strandberg.

   Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
