Lorraine Stachniewicz Obituary

Lorraine Stachniewicz (Nee: Edwards), 83, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. Lorraine was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her parents William and Helen (Meehan) Edwards, her beloved husband Norman Stachniewicz, her dearest daughter Janice Stachniewicz and her siblings Richard, Bernie and Bobby Edwards.

Loving mother of Steven Stachniewicz, Norman “Butch” Stachniewicz Jr. and his wife Lisa and Pamela Singer and her late husband Chuck. Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Danielle, Kristi, Jillian, Matthew, Ryan, Zachary, Jacob, Alexandria, Guiliana, Jackson, Dario and Charlotte. Also survived by 10 loving great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
