Francis A. Golias, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on February 24, 2019 at Bayonne Medical Center.
During his lifetime, Frank worked for various companies, putting his heart and soul into whatever he did. His last job was as a Mechanical Supervisor for Conoco of Newark, where he retired in 1983 after 25 years of service.
Frank also graduated from Bayonne Technical school and was an usher at St. Joseph’s church in Bayonne. He proudly served as a Master Sergeant in the Marines, which was the foundation of how he and his family conducted their lives.
Frank was pre-deceased by his wife Anna (nee) Wernock. He is survived by his 2 children Linda and Alan F. Golias; proud grandfather of Wendy Cormann and great-grandfather to Christopher, Jack and Chase.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 27th at S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral home, 32-34 E. 22nd St., Bayonne, from 4-8 P.M. A funeral mass will be offered on Thursday, February 28th, 10 A.M., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Bayonne. Interment with Military honors will immediately follow funeral mass at the Holy Name Cemetery
