Joseph Alfred Beebe

Joseph Alfred Beebe, age 63, set sail on his final voyage on Thursday, August 24, 2017. He is survived by his daughters, Desirée Lee Beebe and Yolonda Marie Iszczyk (Bart Iszczyk) and his grandchildren, Gracey and Quinn Iszczyk, as well as his loving companion, Linda DiDonato (William Zevlas). Joseph, son of previously deceased, Dolores and Alfred Joseph Beebe, was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. He is survived by his siblings Richard Beebe (Deborah Beebe), Alfred J. Beebe, Jr., (Joanne Beebe), Jim Beebe, Matthew Beebe (Tracy Beebe), Karen Beebe Wood (Scott Wood) and the #1 son, Larry Boone. Predeceased by his sister Joanne Kennedy (John Kennedy). Joe was a graduate of St. Andrew's and Bayonne High School, where he was the captain of the football team. He attended American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts on a football scholarship, and later attended San Francisco State University. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel, Lyceum and bowled beside his friends and family weekly. Joe's musicality was a constant. Be it playing the piano or guitar, or listening to live music, there was always a melody surrounding him. Joe was a lifetime member of Robbin's Reef Yacht Club and an avid sailor. A lifelong baseball and Mets fan, Joe played and managed baseball teams in Bayonne through his forties. Joe loved all those he met fiercely, and welcomed all new friends to sail with him. As stated by his father, Alfred, "We may not be rich, but we're millionaires when it comes to love. 1-4-3" A memorial service will be held for all family and friends at S. Fryczynski and Son Funeral Home on Monday, August, 28th from 12-2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Joe's memory to the Harry Chapin Foundation.
