Josephine Walichowski

Josephine Walichowski, 98, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson in Hamilton, N.J.  She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Josephine was a line worker supervisor for the Western Electric Company of Kearny.  She was a member of the Western Electric Telephone Pioneers of America, the Royal Arcanium and the Association of the Sons of Poland. She was predeceased by her parents the late Joseph Walichowski and Anna (Nee: Urban) and her siblings; Joseph, Mary, Zygmunt, Edward and Reverend Marion Walichowski, Helen and Laura Banasiak, and Anna Lucas. 

Loving aunt of Carol Jansen and her husband Carl.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of the St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
