Patricia Downes

Patricia Downes passed away at Bayonne Medical Center on January 9th,2018. She was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne for most of her life. Patricia worked at Stevens Institute of Technology for 50 years in the Metallurgical Department as an Administrative Assistant.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving parents Michael and Catherine [ Nee: Malone ] Downes and siblings Michael and Vincent Downes,Florence Zemann, Sr.Mary  Rosarii S.C., brother-in-law Alfrede Zemann, niece Cathy Kroboth and nephew Tony Ortiz and sister Mary Ellen Griffin

Cherished friend of Carol Whaselsky. Dear sister of James Downs and his wife Eileen and Margaret Ortiz and her husband Tony.Beloved  aunt of Susan Oritz. Devoted sister-in-law of Helen and Wilma Downes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitations on Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.A Funeraql Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's memory to the Development Office of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, P.O.Box 476, Convent Station, NJ 07961-0476
