Richard C. Hattenberg

Richard C. Hattenberg, 76, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.  He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Richard was a retired employee for the General Dynamics Company of Bayonne and prior had worked for the Aramark Corporation at Giants Stadium.  
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Gladys (Nee: Martin) Hattenberg and his brother-in-law John Zupko.
Beloved husband of Terri (Nee: Zupko) Hattenberg.  Loving father of Lisa Bowen and her husband Steve and Eric Hattenberg and his fiancee Amy LeFanto.  Dear grandfather of Shaelynn and Connor Bowen and Kayla, Logan and John Hattenberg.  Cherished brother of Judith Siwiec.  Devoted brother-in-law of Linda Zupko, Gerry Zupko, Nancy Fabian and her husband Joe and Pat Sammarco.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  Religious services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.
