Rita Marie (Pankowitz) Smarz

Rita Marie Smarz (Nee: Pankowitz) entered into eternal rest on October 14, 2019. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, she was a branch manager assistant for Smith Barney.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Richard Smarz.  She is survived by her children Janet Fusiak and her husband Stephen Krand, Linda Bomba and her husband the late Richard Bomba, Karyn Smarz and her husband Neil Barton and Richard, Robert and Brian Smarz.  Dear grandmother of Richard, Kristen, Ryan, Olivia, Sophie, Frankie and Violet.  Also survived by her great-grandchildren Adam and Braden.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
