Zofia Mackow Obituary

Zofia Mackow (Nee: Gil) passed away at her daughter’s home on Friday, March 8, 2019.  She was born in Poland on November 5, 1930 and resided in Bayonne for many years.  She was a homemaker.  Zofia was a member of the Polish American Home in Bayonne.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wladyslaw Mackow.
Loving mother of Maria Cunningham, Halina Mroz and her husband Matthew, Wesley Mackow and his wife Kitty and John Mackow.  Dear grandmother of David and his wife Stephanie, Matthew Jr. and his wife Kristen, Jennifer and her husband Michael, Kim Mroz, Michelle and her husband Eric, Wesley Jr., Libby and Katie.  Cherished great-grandmother of Halina Rose,  Haylee, Cody, Niko, Aubrey, Maksym, Mylee, Aryana, Gracie and Graham.   Also survived by her sisters Stella and Antonia and her sister -in-law Theresa Komorowski and her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or call 800-805-5856.
