Ann (Kamisin) Malkowski

Ann Malkowski (nee: Kamisin) , 95, passed away on September 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and comforted in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.  She entered her eternal reward with the serenity of our Heavenly Father.  Ann was born in Lisbon Falls, Maine on September 11, 1916 to the late Michael and Ann Kamisin and moved to Bayonne in 1925.  Ann lived and worked in Bayonne for eighty five years.  She was predeceased by her son Eugene, her brother John and beloved sister Katherine Syp.  

Ann's greatest joy in life was her family.  She married Leo Malkowski on January 28, 1940, and remained married until his death in 1979.  “Grandma Annie”, as she was known to many, spent many summers with her four grandsons and always welcomed her four granddaughters for special sleepovers.  She was a loving, funny, and quick-witted woman who will be greatly missed.  

Cherishing her memory are her loving children Lee and his wife Dian of TX; Barbara Leonard and her husband Bill of Bayonne, NJ, and Richard and his wife Sharon of Union, NJ. Ann was blessed with eight grandchildren and ten (soon to be twelve) great- grandchildren.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening at 5:00-9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be offered at Mount Carmel Church in Bayonne at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 13th.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
