Anna (Pruskiewicz) Lucas

Anna Lucas [nee Pruskiewicz] , 89, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Park Place Center in Monmouth Junction.

She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. She worked as an EKG Technician at the Bayonne Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of the Royal Arcanum and the Sons of Poland.

Anna was predeceased by her husband Michael Lucas, her daughter Bernice Edwards Lucas and her siblings; Mary, Zygmunt, Joseph, Edward and Rev. Marion Walichowski, Helen and Laura Banasiak.

Loving mother of Carol Jansen and her husband Carl,  Cherished grandmother of Christopher and his wife Sandra, Cheryl McGlynn and her husband Daniel, Caryn and her husband Marvin, Rachel,Rebecca and Michael. Dear great- grandmother of Elias, Ciera, Kaila, Tyra, Camryn, Tristan, Jason and Ryan. Devoted sister of Josephine Walichowski.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the  S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebratede on Monday, September, 23,2013 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
