Bruno Botwin

Bruno Botwin, 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2012 at his residence in Bayonne.  He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.
Bruno was a Merchant Marine for over 25 years having worked for the Exxon and Texaco Corporations.  He was discharged from the United States Coast Guard on September 10, 1944 for his service to his country in the Merchant Marine.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Walter, Henry, Stanley and Mildred King.
He was the beloved husband of Stella ( Nee: Zlotek) Botwin.  Loving father of Thomas Botwin and his wife Nancy.  Dear grandfather of Darryl Straka and Thomas Botwin and greatgrandfather of Sophie, Stella and Leo.  Devoted uncle pf Edward and Mary, Phyllis and Dave, Robert, Susan, Tom, Craig, Becky, Timmy and Matthew.  Also survived by his sister-in-law Emilie Esposito.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Blessing will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
