Catherine (Czarnecki) Knapp

Catherine (Nee; Czarnecki) Knapp, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Chelsea of Toms River, N.J.  Catherine was born in Bayonne where she resided until moving to Timonium, Maryland.  She lived in Maryland for 40 years beforing returning to New Jersey 5 years ago.  She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Knapp, her son Bernard and her sisters, Stella Pavlick and Laura Czarnecki.
Loving mother of Geraldine and her husband Dr. Carl Alfaro.  Dear grandmother of Candice Smires and her husband Daniel and Carl Alfaro and his wife Elizabeth.  Cherished great-grandmother of Audra, Aidan, Nicholas and Evan.  Devoted sister of Alfred Czarnecki and his wife Lillian.  Also survived by her nieces, Susan Czarnecki and Donna Cardona.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at  11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
