Celia Skowronski

Celia Skowronski, 98, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Celia worked for the Western Electric Company in Kearny for over 30 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Stella (Orzechowski) Skowronski and her siblings; Joseph, Chester, Edward, Catherine, Harriet, Helen and Bertha Skowronski, Mary Pijanowski, Josephine Lukac, Irene Gorman and Lorraine Sroczynski.Loving mother of Edward Lenahan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of St John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
