Cherylbeth Miedowski Martin

Cherylbeth Miedowski Martin passed away suddenly after having a stroke and complications from MS on November 22, 2022 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  She was born in Bayonne where she resided for most of her life and she also lived for a time in Fairlawn.  She was graduate of Holy Family Academy and Jersey City State College and received her medical degree in pediatrics from the University of Noreste Tampico in Mexico.  With love she devoted her life to caring for animals working for animal control of Bergen County for over 20 years and personally rehabilitated many animal from her home.  Cherylbeth had a passion for dance and enjoyed performing in various theater productions held at Holy Family Academy, Jersey City State College as well as the Halfpenny Playhouse in Kearny and the prestigious stage of Palisades Amusement Park in Fort Lee.
She was predeceased by her parents Henry J. and Irene (Krempa) Miedowski and her mother-in-law Barbara Martin.
Loving wife of Allan Martin.  Cherished cousin “just like sisters” to Dorene Weber and her husband Robert.  Beloved godmother and aunt to Dr. Eric Weber and his wife Lan and Tara Goodwin and her husband Jeremy.  Dear sister-in-law of Robyn Martin and her husband Joe Wilson and Diane Skol and her companion John Wyse.  Also survived by her father-in-law Ray Martin, nephews Daniel and Joshua Wilson and her canine pal Leo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an animal charity of your choice or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (800-225-6495).
