Chester John Philipczak, 94, he went his way, at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 napping to Frank Sinatra. We should all be so lucky. It's a good thing, he chose the time and went with grace and style. A good man and father, he is at peace now. Chester was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for General Motors in Linden, spray painting new vehicles for 63 years retiring at the age of 80.
Chester was predeceased by his beloved wife Alice (Nee: Lukasik) Philipczak and by his siblings, Henry Philipczak and his wife Alice and Zigmund Philipczak and his wife Nancy.
Loving father of Lois Condon and her husband Steven and Curt Philipczak and his wife Donna. Dear grandfather of Lily and Cole. Cherished uncle of John and Joseph Philipczak and Bernadette Zuza.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry R.C. Church, Bayonne. Committal services with Military Honors will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, N.J.
