Clair R. (Motkowski) Pintauro

Claire R. Pintauro (Nee: Motkowski), 65, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on January 27, 2011.  She was born and raised in Bayonne, N.J.  A 1962 graduate of Bayonne High School, she earned a full scholarship to Bayonne Hospital School of Nursing and completed her RN degree in 1965.  Claire and her husband Joseph moved to Cranford, N.J. in 1969, where they raised their family, relocating to Mesa, AZ in 1999.
Along with being a dedicated wife and mother, she was a member of the League for the Educational Advancement of Registered Nurses (LEARN) where she held the presidency for two terms.
She is the cherished wife of 45 years to Joseph Pintauro.  Beloved mother of Rosemary Scranton and her husband Michael, Joseph, Jr., Susan, Gregory and his wife Lauren and Claire.  Loving grandmother to Camille Pintauro and Shelby Scranton.  Also survived by her sister Theresa Baxter and many nieces and nephews.
Claire was laid to rest on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, AZ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in her memory, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.
