Clara (Trojanowski) Cheshul

Clara Cheshul (Née: Trojanowski), 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  She was a sales clerk at Marguerite’s Dress Shop on Broadway many years ago and was a homemaker.

Clara was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter “Babe” Cheshul and her granddaughter Kimberly Mix and siblings Zygmund, Theodore and Alfred Trojanowski and Regina Olszewski.

Loving mother of Carol Mix, Joan O’Connell and  her husband Brian and Gary Cheshul.  Dear grandmother of Tara McCabe and her husband Andrew and Trayc O’Connell Acosta and her husband Anthony.  Cherished great-grandmother of Jennifer O’Connell Saponara and her husband Christian and Adriana Acosta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday morning March 7, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home 857 Kennedy BLVD. Bayonne.  A Funeral mass will be held immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
