Dorothy Doris (Mazurowski) Pietruszki

Doris Pietruszki (Mazurowski), 82, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at St. Joseph's Senior Home and Assisted Living Center, Woodbridge, N.J.

She was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Bayonne where she resided for most of her life.  She has lived at St. Joseph's for the past 3 years.  

Doris was a homemaker.  She was a volunteer at the Bayonne Hospital, an active PTA mother at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, the mother's club at Marist High School, a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 19, and a member of the  Bayonne Chapter of Deborah Hospital.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond T. Pietruszki and her sister Irene Ostrowski.

She is survived by her four loving sons Raymond T. Jr. and his wife Maryann, Donald and his wife Donna, Richard, and David and his wife Barbara.  Dear grandmother of Sarah, Laura, Kristen, Allison, and Raegan and great-grandmother of Joseph.  

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne  A funeral mass will be offered on Thursday July 14, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Bayonne.  Cremation will be private.
