Dorothy (Karol) Ruggirello

Dorothy Ruggirello (Nee: Karol), 88, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at her home in Bricktown, N.J. She was born in Bayonne where she resided her entire life before moving to Bricktown. She worked for Diamond Shamrock plastics company of Bayonne as a production controller for 25 years before retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Bayonne and St. Dominic Church of Bricktown. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Ruggirello, her son Daniel and her parents Stanley and Anne Karol. Loving mother of James and his wife Joanne, John and his wife Patricia, Thomas, Richard and his wife Debbie and Nancy Hughes and her husband James. Dear grandmother of Allison, Melissa, Michael, Kevin, Pamela, Cynthia, Nicholas, Jamie Lynn, Brian, Andrew and Rebecca. Cherished great-grandmother of Carly, Thomas, Tyler, Jack, William and Samantha. Devoted sister of Cecilia Gallotti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Cremation will be private.
