Dr. John Francis Godinski

Dr. John Francis Godinsky, 59, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home in Bayonne.  He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  He was an engineer for the United States Postal Service for 15 years before changing his career to the medical profession.  He was a graduate of New Jersey City University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark.  Dr. Godinsky has been in practice for 15 years.  He was employed by University Correctional Health Care of Newark, N.J.   His favorite hobby and passion was fixing cars.

He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Harriet (Nee: Piewczynska) Godinsky.

John is survived by his sister Paula Zator and her husband John of Rockaway, N.J.  Dear uncle of Mark and Jennifer Zator.  He was a loving brother, uncle and caring friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
