Edward B. Kowalski

Edward B. Kowalski, 64, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home in Bayonne.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a bartender and catering chef for the F.A. Mackenzie Post of Bayonne for many years and later was a toll collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
He was the beloved husband of Helen (Nee: Hyland) Kowalski.  Loving father of William Kowalski and Katherine Grieco and her husband Kenneth.  Cherished grandfather of Kenneth Grieco Jr., and John Grieco.
The funeral was conducted on Saturday, October 13, 2012 and a Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne.  Committal services followed with Military Honors at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.  Arrangements by: S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home.
