Obituary

Edward J. Williamson, 77, passed away at home on Thursday, March 31, 2022.  He was born in Jersey City and was a long time resident of Bayonne.  Edward served his country proudly in the United States Army.  He worked at the  Colgate Palmolive Company of Jersey City and later for the Kay Mattress Company of Newark.  Edward enjoyed Italian food, Doo Wop music, scratch off lottery tickets and his fur babies.
He was predeceased by his parents David and Charlotte Williamson and his siblings Walter Williamson and Margaret Lasiewski.
Beloved husband of Elaine (Grzywinski) Williamson.  Loving father of Darin Williamson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.
