Frank Prokop Jr.

Frank Prokop Jr., passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  He was born in Margaret Hague Hospital in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Bayonne. He was retired from General Dynamics of Avenel where he worked for 25 years as a precision grinder, prior he worked for American Handling of Jersey City and he began his working career for his family's Gulf Station on 38th Street and Broadway in Bayonne.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret (Nee: Lesho) Prokop Sr.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Nee: Nikodem) Prokop.  Loving father of Michele Prokop Nargi and her husband Michael.  Dear grandfather of Michael Nargi Jr.  Cherished brother of Karl Prokop and his late wife Barbara and Kathy Raslowsky and her late husband William.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday (Today) from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's & St. Joseph Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
