Harriet Ciechacki

Harriet Ciechacki, 100, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her home with her family present.  She resided in Bayonne all of her life.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where in October 1931 she married her beloved husband, John D Ciechacki, who passed away in 1974.  They were constant companions and best friends.
Mrs.Ciechacki was the devoted mother of Loretta Rukat and Irene Raskowski and cherished grandmother of Janice Rukat and James Raskowski.
For the war effort, she worked as an inspector at the Western Electric Co. in Bayonne.
Relative and friends are invited to atttend the viewing at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home on Friday, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harriet's name to the Bayonne Visiting Nurses Association Hospice Program, 325 Broadway, Bayonne, N.J., 07002.
