Helen C. Hempel

Helen C. Hempel, 90, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, April 24, 2015. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Helen worked for Western Electric in various positions for 36 years before retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Helen was predeceased by her beloved parents Alexander and Josephine ( Nee: Losiewicz) Hempel, her siblings; Mary Dujinski and her husband Charles, Henry Hempel and his wife Annette, Chester Hempel and his wife Hattie and Alexander Hempel Jr. and his wife Stephanie and her niece Arlene Lengyl and her husband Robert. Helen is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
