Helen (Zare) Pack

Helen Pack (Nee: Zare), 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2016 at the Bayonne Medical Center. Helen was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. She was a crossing guard for the city of Bayonne for over 25 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Pack, her son William Pack and her siblings; Michael, Peter, Joseph, Frank, Edward and Margaret Zare and Ann Rivas. Loving mother of Jane Carroll and her late husband Daniel, Maribeth Williams and her husband Michael, John J. Pack Jr. and his wife Christine, Jeffrey Pack and Michelle Robyn Vargas and her husband David. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Joseph, Michael, Justin, Dylan, Isabelle, Gabrielle, Jean Sebastien, Jeremy, Julia and Jacob. Dear sister of George Zare. Also survived by her great-grandson Zyon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington
