Helen (Raskowski) Trainor

Helen Trainor (Nee: Raskowski), 93, passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  She was born in Bayonne and was lifelong resident.  Helen was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Henry’s, the Red Hatters and past treasurer of the Downtown Senior’s.
Daughter of the late Konstanty and Sophie Raskowski, Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard M. Trainor and her siblings John, Stephen and Raymond Raskowski, Lottie Sucharzewski and Jean Wojcik.
Loving mother of Bernard Trainor and his wife Jodi, Mary Ellen Cerbone, Kathleen Locascio and her husband Ronald, Michael Trainor and his wife Barbara and Anthony Trainor and his fiancée Laura.
Dear grandmother of Erin, Matthew, Kimberly, Kelly, Taryn, Alyson, Jenna, David, Michael, Bernard, Ciara, Brooklyn, Callie and Joseph.  Dear great-grandmother to Michael, Ryan, Giuliana, Peyton, Aidan, Sienna, Rory, Brandon and Cora.  The family would like to thank Colleen Higgins for all of her wonderful care that she provided and to Compassionate Care Hospice.
Visitation Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Henry’s RCC, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
