Helen Wierzbicki (Nee: Kukowski), 95, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 5, 2014.

She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking cookies for her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Wierzbicki and her siblings; Henry, Zygmunt, Joseph, Edward and Chester Kukowski and Mary Warsh, Irene Brutto and Clara Burline and her son-in-law John Niznik.

Loving mother of Frank Wierzbicki and his wife Judy and Florence Niznik.  Dear grandmother of Diane, Michael, Dennis, John, Edward and Melissa.  Cherished sister of Jean Zajac, Dorothy and Florence Kukowski.  Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. from St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Bayonne.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St, Jude Children' Research Hosp. P.O.Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis TN, 38101-9908.
