Irene (Lojewski) Kulnis

Irene Kulnis (Nee: Lojewski), 88, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Staten Island University Hospital. She was born in Bayonne and resided there until moving to Tarpon Springs Florida in 1989. Since the spring of last year she was living in Staten Island, New York. Irene and her late husband Edward owned and operated the Central Bar in Bayonne for over 40 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward Kulnis. Loving mother of Miriam Kulnis and Pamela Gutierrez and her husband Ronald. Dear grandmother of Matthew. Cherished sister of Helen Jakubowski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment of her ashes in Holy Cross Cemetery will be private.
