Irene (Pietrzak) Sicinski

Irene Sicinski (Nee: Pietrzak), 97, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Overlook Hospital, Summit.  She was born in Brooklyn in 1915 and lived in Bayone for most of her life.  During WWII she worked as an inspector for Conmar Zipper factory in Newark.  She was a loving homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  She was known for her positive outlook on life, strength, vivacious spirit, sense of humor and generosity.
She was predeceased in 1997 by her husband of 47 years Leo Sicinski and her siblings; Henry Pietrzak, Bertha Zawistowski and Debbie Blomquist.
Loving mother of Lorraine Restivo and her husband Adam.  Dear grandmother of Renee and Jenette and great-grandmother of Zane and Calvin.
Visitation Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Iterment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
