Irene M. (Plytinski) Wozniak

Irene M. Wozniak (Nee: Plytynski)  passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.  She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Irene was the administrator of the Anatomy Department at U.M.D.M.J. in Newark for 25 years.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne.
Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Wozniak and her siblings; Stanley, Walter and Edmund Plytynski and Helen Bertoni.
Loving mother of Joseph F. Wozniak Jr. and John J. Wozniak and his wife Constance.  Dear grandmother of Joseph F. III, Jaclyn M., Christopher J., John J. Jr. and Brandon M. Wozniak.  Cherished sister of Janet Hurley and her late husband Joseph.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
