Jean (Mayo) Borowicz

Jean Borowicz, (Nee: Mayo), 80,  passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Bayonne Medical Center.

She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  She retired from Western Electric in Kearny where she worked assembling telephone equipment for 25 years.  She enjoyed bowling and years ago competed in the Pioneers bowling league.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alexander C. Borowicz, her son Paul Borowicz, her  parents David and Helen (Nee: Buda) Mayo and her brother Robert Mayo and his wife Dorris.

Jean is survived by her loving son Alan Borowicz.  Dear grandmother of Dana, Jenna and Lindsey.  Cherished great-grandmother of Izabella.  Also survived by her brother Butch Mayo and his wife Kathy and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Jean on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Committal services and cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.

There will be no Visitation at the Funeral Home.
