Jeanette (Stray) McKenna

Jeanette McKenna (Nee: Stray), 93, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.  She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong  resident.  Jeanette worked in the drafting office of Western Electric in Kearny and later for AT&T in New York City for over 40 years before retiring.  She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Andrean seniors group in Bayonne.  
She was predeceased by her beloved husband William McKenna.
Loving mother of Jack McIlroy and his wife Denise.  Dear grandmother of Kerry McIlroy and her husband Alexander Rea and Megan McIlroy and her partner Brandon Carter.  Cherished great-grandmother of Nina Rea.  Devoted sister of Peter and Theodore Stray.  Also survived by her nieces Karen and Judy and her nephew Ted.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of Blessed Miriam Theresa Demjanovich at St. Andrew Church, Bayonne.  Entombment will follow at Holt Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
