Obituary

   John F. ("Jack") Rogers, 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ where he resided until moving to Bayonne where he raised his family.  Later in life he moved  to Lake Hopatcong and happily called it home for 30 years.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army. John worked for the United States Postal Service in Kearny for over 40 years before retiring.  His hobbies included fishing, boating, taking millions of photos, tinkering cars, watching classic movies, The Honeymooners, and the Three Stooges.  John was always quick witted and ready to crack a joke. 
He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary (Nee: Sexton) Rogers and his brother Walter Rogers.
   Loving father of Mary Rogers and her husband Steven Kicklighter, Patricia Quinn, Kathleen Molinari and her husband Edward and John Rogers.  Cherished grandfather of Casey Coe and her husband Justin, Vincent, Nicholas and Gianna Molinari.   Dear great-grandfather of Alaina Coe.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew RC Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
