Joseph A James

Joseph A. James passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Joseph was a liscensed plumber and owned and operated Fred R. Bigg Inc. Plumbing Co. of Bayonne for over 25 years.  He served his country in the Navy during WWII.
He was the past president of the Holy Name Society and Homeschool Association of St. Henrys Church, Bayonne and a member of the Knights of Colombus Council #371.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth J. James and his children Robert and Kathy.
Loving father of Joseph, William, Julie, Jane, Betsy and Edward.  Dear grandfather of Michael, Joseph, Michele, Catherine, Liam, Tess, Emily, Robbie and Caitlin.  Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall, N.J.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rose R.C. Church, Belmar.  Entombment will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery, Spring Lake.
