Joseph R Scarito

Joseph R. Scarito, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed on from this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the age of 97.
He was a retired Printer from Jersey Printing Co., Bayonne.  After retirement, he truly enjoyed organizing and running bus trips to Atlantic City for the past 35 years.
Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife of 71 years Lillian (Herguth) Scarito, his parents Mary and Sorow Scarito, his brother Salvatore,his sister Rose Zito and grandaughter, Patricia.
Mourning his loss are his 3 children, Robert and John Scarito and Patricia Gotch and her husband, Pete; Sisters Agatha Damico, Veronica Bower and Eugenia Scarito.  Loving grandfather of Robert, Michael, Peter, Darin, Kevin and Robyn.  Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Henry R.C. Church, 28th St. and Avenue C, Bayonne.  Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105 or St. Henry Church, Bayonne.
