Loretta (Drozd) Horzepa

Loretta Horzepa (Nee: Drozd), 93, passed away at home on Saturday, October 19, 2024.  She was born, raised and a lifelong resident of Bayonne.  Loretta worked for N.Y. Bell in the payroll department and later was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Loretta was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley Horzepa, her parents Louis and Mary Drozd and her siblings; Josephine Suczewski and her husband Edward, John Drozd and Stephanie Kurpiewski and her husband John.

She is survived by nephews Dr. Edward Suczewski and his wife Julie and Dr. Thomas Suczewski and his wife Karen and nieces Janice Suczewski and her husband Roger Magid and Dr. Dorothy Filip EdD.  Also survived by other nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
