Lynn Ann Christie

Obituary

Lynn Ann Christie passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023.  She was born in Jersey City.  The Christie family moved to Bayonne when Lynn was 14 years old.  Lynn began her freshman year at Bayonne High School and quickly began making friends.  Lynn was a gifted athlete in basketball, softball at 3rd base and gymnastics.  During her high school years she went on to join the Bridgemen and Bayonne Cadets and was so proud of herself.

Lynn was a role model to her younger siblings and they were her best friends.  Lynn worked as a waitress in Bayonne and was liked by many.  If Lynn didn’t know you through her younger years she met you while waitressing.

In 2010 Lynn graduated and became a Medical Assistant.  Lynn loved and cared for everyone, she was a kind hearted and beautiful person.  Lynn would give the shirt off her back to make sure someone else was ok.  She was a friendly, fun and strong woman.  Loved by so many and welcomed all with open arms.  She loved her family and friends so much and always made sure they knew it.  She was a proud mom and even a prouder granny.  There wasn’t a day that went by when Lynn didn’t brag about her kids and grandkids, they were her heart.  We want her to be remembered by her energetic spirit, bright smile, love of others and her kind heart.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents Bill and Doris Christie and her brother Jackie Christie and her nephew Frankie Daly.

Loving mother of Dayna and Shawn Christie.  Dear sister of Karen and Billy Christie.  Cherished grandmother of Cameron, Bryan, Eveiana, Korey, Alivia and Mason.  Also survived by 1 great-grandchild, her canine pal Coveynn and nieces Crystal and Tracie and nephews Dominic, Louie, Bryan, Will and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cremation services on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.
