Margaret M. (Lynch) Noonan

Margaret M. Noonan (Nee: Lynch), 92, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 22, 2015.  She was born in Elizabeth N.J. and moved to Jersey City where she lived and raised her family for over 50 years, she resided in Bayonne for the last 8 years.  Margaret received her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Elizabeth Hospital Nursing School.  She worked for Public Health in Bayonne then in the Pediatric Department of Jersey City Medical Center for many years and finished her career at Greenville Hospital in Jersey City.  She was a member of the Altar Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband James R. Noonan in 1998 and her siblings; Edward Lynch and Jane Shaver.

Loving mother of Margaret Vasu and her husband Andre, Mary McKenna and her late husband James, Ann Iglesias, Robert Noonan, Patricia Noonan, Kathleen Barry and her husband Michael and James Noonan.  Cherished grandmother of Taryn, James, Megan and Hannah and great-grandmother of Benjamin, William and James.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Mt. Carmel Church for the food cards for the poor.
