MargaretAnn “Peggy” Santopietro (Wojciechowski)
MargaretAnn was reunited with the love of her life, Rocco, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. While her life’s journey on earth has ended, Heaven has welcomed a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Margaret passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Margaret was survived by her son, Dominick and his wife, Rhea; Stanley and his wife, Lisa; Rocco and his wife, Krysia; daughter Maggie Doherty; and Margaret’s two children, Joseph and Helen, who left this earth too soon.
Margaret was a cherished grandmother to Kathryn & Matt; Jeanine; John (deceased); Dominick & Jamie; Brittanie, Ryan, Kayla, Nicholas (deceased) and Michaela. She was great-grandmother to Breanna, Payton, Teagan, Richie, Jocelyn (JJ) and Rhylie Paige.
Margaret was a beloved Aunt “Cioci” to her niece/goddaughter, Erika Greco, and her husband, Kevin, and great-niece RubyLove.
A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Margaret was born on March 25, 1944 to Stanley & Anna Wojciechowski.
She was a dear sister to her twin, MaryAnn Rickard; sister Rita and deceased brothers, Frank and Stanley Wojciechowski.
Margaret was also a loving sister-in-law to Mike (deceased) & Tina Santopietro, Anthony Santopietro (deceased) and Anna Balletta (deceased). She had many fond memories in Brooklyn and Hazlet with Rocky’s family and all of their nieces and nephews.
People who hold special places in Margaret’s heart are: cousins Joanne, Patti and “Margie from Hoboken”; friends Janie, George, Donna and Octavio. She shared a lifelong friendship and great memories with her best friend, Linda (deceased) and the entire Petrakian family. Margaret is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives, and she will forever be remembered for her renowned crumb cake.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
