Marilyn Chickie Markowski

Marilyn 'Chickie' Markowski, 81, of Bayonne, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Willow Springs Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Brick, N.J. She was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne her entire life. Chickie was retired from the Engineering Department of Lucent Technologies of Newark, where she worked for 38 years. She was a member of the Western Electric Telephone Pioneers of America and was a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Michael and Rose (Nee: Horincewich) Markowski, her sister Victoria Tomko and her husband John and her brother-in-law Edward Falinski. Loving sister of Evelyn Carey and her husband John. Dear aunt of Edward Falinsky and his wife Carol, Donna Antice and her husband Joseph, Patricia Tenreiro and her husband Joseph, Kathleen Tomko and Deborah Wanko and her husband Stephen. Cherished great-aunt of Christopher, Michelle, Daniel, Courtney, Lauren and Lindsay. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington
