Mary (Gruba) Chomicz

Mary Chomicz (Nee: Gruba), 83, passed away in Huntsville Alabama on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.  She was born in Poland and resided in Bayonne for most of her life.  Mary worked for the Bayonne Board of Education for many years before retiring.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Mieczyslaw “Mitch” Chomicz and her siblings John Gruba and Helen Jaduze.
Loving mother of Joseph Chomicz Sr. and Theresa Simpson and her husband Robert of Huntsville Alabama.  Cherished grandmother of Kristen and her husband Lawrence, Joseph Jr. and his wife Joanna, John and Justin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown PA.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity in Mary’s memory.
