Mary (Pirozzi) Delaney

Mary Delaney (Nee: Pirozzi), 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  Mary was born in Bayonne to the late Salvatore and Christina Pirozzi and resided in Bayonne her entire life.  She was a homemaker and later the secretary of St. Henry’s grammar school and CCD program.  Mary was a member of the St. Henry rosary society and bingo worker for the parish and she was an original member of the Bayonne Little League ladies auxiliary.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Delaney and her sisters Palma Pirozzi and Christina Fiore and her husband Joseph.
Loving mother of Harold Delaney and his wife Barbara and Anthony Delaney and his wife Jayne.  Dear grandmother of Harold IV and his fiancé Jocelyn, Jarryd and Anthony Jr. and his fiancé Katie.  Cherished sister of Camille Pirozzi.  Devoted aunt of Camille Fiore.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Henry Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross cemetery,  North Arlington.
