Mary Ann (Schumacher) Kiczek

Mary Ann Kiczek (Nee: Schumacher), 76, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. She was a manager for First Savings Bank of Bayonne which later became Richmond Savings and then New York Community Bank, she retired after 29 years in the banking business. Years ago she was very active at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Parish in Bayonne as a Rosary Society member and a standing committee person for the parish carnivals and a cub scout den mother. Mary Ann loved to travel especially on cruise ships, she sailed with her husband Walter on 45 adventures and also enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit and vacation with her family. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Marion (Nee: Kochanski) Schumacher and her siblings John Schumacher and Margaret Chizzone. Beloved wife of 57 years to Walter Kiczek. Loving mother of Walter and his wife Jean Lacourt-Kiczek and Richard and his wife Dawn Kiczek. Cherished grandmother of Ricky Kiczek. Dear sister of James Schumacher and his wife Dorris, Gail Dee and Eleanor Donovan and her late husband Brian. Sister-in-law of Dorris Schumacher and Ralph Chizzone. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
