Maureen (Albanese) Woods

Maureen Woods (Nee: Albanese), 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at JFK Medical center. She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  Maureen was a bank teller for Pamrapo Bank and was later a teachers aide at Bayonne High School.

She is predeceased by her parents Angelo and Michelle Albanese and her brother Joseph Albanese.

Beloved wife of Gregory Woods.  Loving mother of Melinda Gfroehrer and her husband Michael.  Dear cousin of Franie and Angela.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home 857 Kennedy Blvd. Bayonne.  A Funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Henry RC Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the W.C. Doyle Veterans  Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
