Michael Bates

Michael Bates, 67, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hackensack University Medical Center.  He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident.  He worked at the L'oreal Warehouse in Secaucus.  Father of Michael and Kenneth Bates.  Son of the late Calvin and Anna Bates.  Brother of Richard, Jerome and Robert Bates, Annette Darden and Darlene Bates and the late Samuel, James, Joseph, Reginald, John, William, Shirley Wheeler and Margie Sims.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, May 1st, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, 32 East 22nd Street, Bayonne.
Michael will be buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden on Monday, May 2nd, 2022, the family will depart the funeral home for the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.
