Michael Russo, 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in Bayonne and was lifelong resident. Michael served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He was a toll collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for 25 years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his parents Nunzio and Viola (Nee: Lombardi) Russo.
Beloved husband of Helen (Nee: Baczek) Russo. Loving father of Deborah Dawn Paul and her husband Joseph and Michael Russo Jr. Dear grandfather of Stephen, James, Gannesa and Sarah.
Daddy it seems like yesterday that we caught every variety of fish in our Florida Keys canal. What a catch, I’m surely going to miss our time together, Jr. Dad my happiest day of my life was you walking me down the aisle you’re my angel always, Deb. The family would like to thank Dr. Brooks and Dr. Druck and all the nurses at Bayonne Medical Center for their compassionate care.
Private funeral services were arranged by the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.
